Please join us for the Afrolistic Healing Arts Festival on May 2nd & 3rd!

This is the largest event I've ever produced and I am a little nervous that we're not going to be able to fill the space. I know I have an amazing team of collaborators and an awesome community. Please support some incredible artists, healers, and community workers as we explore the healing impact of the arts.

We will have 2 days of unique and engaging programming including panel discussions, poetry, dance, music, & sound healing featuring a diverse group of Black artists and practitioners.

Yanée Ferrari (Moderator)

Yanée is a devotee of the earth, spirit, and social transformation. Rooted in the Yoruba tradition of Isese and informed by her work in the healing arts, she blends ancestral wisdom, plant spirit medicine, and energy work to foster healing and liberation.

Wanda Ravernell (Panelist)

Wanda Ravernell and Tobaji Stewart lead the Omnira Institute which began its work in 2009. Its annual cycle of events is called “Roots of Faith, Roots of Freedom,”

Aza Marie (Performer)

This artist is a producer, musician and songwriter from San Francisco. She is developing her niche and focusing on growth.

Africa Williams- Muhammad is a Mom, holistic healer with over 25 years of experience in therapeutic bodywork, sound healing, and wellness education.

Her daughter, Sehaylah Muhammad, age 8, is a natural musician who has been playing the recorder since infancy. With a growing love for the guitar and a nurturing spirit, Sehaylah brings music, joy, and compassion into every space she enters

Mr. JQuick, Africa’s father and Sehaylah’s grandfather, is a lifelong musician and visual artist. With deep roots in rhythm and creativity, he is now stepping into the world of sound healing, exploring how music can be a force for wellness, connection, and transformation.

Ladi Rev (Poetry)

LadiRevolutionary (LadiRev) is an educator, poet, and healer from Bayview Hunters Point, San Francisco, CA. She is passionate about community, education, and healing.

Folawole is a dancer , farmer and wellness worker dedicated to the spiritual stewardship and material thriving of the black diaspora.

Tiffany Austin (Singer)

Tiffany Austin is a vocalist, educator and Berkeley Law Juris Doctor. Most recently, she co-founded Wyldflowr Arts, a new venue in Oakland.

Kim Randolph

Kim began her journey as a sound healer four years ago at New Mission Yoga in San Francisco’s Mission neighborhood offering yoga nidra, guided imagery; and seated meditation accompanied by Tibetan bowls and intuitively inspired improvised music on the 10-string lyre for deep relaxation. A multi-instrumentalist, Kim also plays improvised music on a variety of folk flutes, hand pan, mbira, and hand percussion.

Crystal Mason is an artist, cultural worker, and community strategist rooted in Black, queer, fat, feminist, and liberatory traditions.

Greg Pong (Poetry)

Greg Pond was born in Brooklyn to Panamanian parents, has written five books of poetry and is a member of Revolutionary Poets Brigade. He hosts 3rd Saturday Poetry in Chinatown, facilitates Poetically Speaking - a weekly conference-call program for seniors, and has curated events for Queer Rebels.

7000 Coils

7000COILS is an independent record label and creative sanctuary dedicated to sonic experimentation, radical wellness, and the liberation of sound. 7000COILS is a portal for artists pushing the boundaries of music, frequency, and ancestral connection.

B Dukes As an intuitive sound weaver, DJ, instrumentalist, vocalist and producer, Blu Moon creates electronic journeys channeled by Spirit while exploring trance states and spirit filled heart music. Sharing the intersections of Black electronic music from across the African diaspora. Experimenting with sound originated from experiencing and playing as a source of ritual, of praise and direct connection with God.

Ms. Momos blends gospel, jazz, and R&B, captivating audiences with her rich, soulful tone and seamless genre transitions. Whether solo or in ensembles, her performances showcase emotional depth, adaptability, and powerful musical expression.

Solbutta aka Tabitha Truu Joy (she/her) is a singer, song-builder, and facilitator building community through self improvement, exploration, collaborative spaces and musical liberation.

Totiana White, also known as MS. WHITE 1ST LADY OF FRISCO, is a proud native of San Francisco’s Bayview-Hunters Point. A performer since the age of five, she has spent the past 16 years honing her craft as a songwriter, artist, and creative visionary.

Photographers and Videographer

Marcella Sanchez is a Black, Queer photographer based in San Francisco, whose work explores themes of identity, visibility, and storytelling.

Trayvon "Tray" Smith (he/him) is a San Francisco native with a deep passion for fashion, art, photography, and community building. A strong advocate for Black and queer visibility, he believes in using his talents to uplift others, ensuring their stories are told and their voices are heard.

Yoga & Sound Healing @ Rafiki

Our 2nd SoundWellness collaboration series at the Rafiki Coalition for Wellness on April 5th!

Come and relax with restorative yoga led by Tajae with sound bath led by Nekia Wright. Then explore the fundamentals of sound and wellness with Nekia and how they can be weaved together to create spaces for transformative healing.

The first 10 participants will receiving a free wellness gift each week including Sound Wellness workbook, massage & magnesium oils, cupping tools, crystal bowls, and tuning forks to support folx in embarking on their self healing journey. Participants also have an opportunity to earn credits towards their SoundWellness Facilitator Certification.
